1. Stat Caps - Yearlings may not exceed 2 in any stat, 2 year olds may not exceed 5, and 3 year olds may not exceed 8. Stat caps, like maxed stats, are indicated by blue stars and bold/underline stats on pages.
2. Training - 2 year olds and 3 year olds always use Energy for the first training of the month with the exception of Maintenance. 3 year olds, like 2 year olds, also use extra Energy when training.
3. Advancement - 2 and 3 year olds now have a hidden Advancement trait that helps horses perform better in races.
4. Travel Affinity - Horses receive a boost to their Travel affinity if they've finished at least 5 races by the time they turn 3 and/or at least 10 races by the time they turn 4.
5. DQs and Refusals - DQ chances have been greatly reduced so DQs should mostly be limited to horses with 0-1 Consistency.
6. Apple Blossom Raffles - Apple Blossom raffles are similar to Select raffles, except they are composed only of retired mares and tickets can only be purchased with Golden Apples.
7. Imports - Import prices have been reduced to: 2,000 PC (Master/Diamond), 1,500 (Amateur/Savvy), and 1,000 (Green/Novice). This does not include the initial browsing deposit.
8. Breeding Pass Trade-In - Breeding Pass trade-in is now available for Amateur+ at the Breeding Passes page. You may exchange unwanted passes for Golden Apples, FFH$, or Import Vouchers.
9. Retired Geldings - Retired geldings now gain Condition when performing Buddy Workouts.

1. Buddy Mares - Broodmares can now be transitioned to be used as buddies if they meet the required restrictions.
2. Sparks Of Joy - Sparks of Joy horses reset at the end of each game month, meaning if you don't do Sparks for awhile you will no longer return to an outdated horse. You may now 'Reroll' your assigned Sparks of Joy horse once per meet.
3. Sprouts and Auction Vouchers - Sprouts and horses purchased with auction vouchers cannot be sold until they have at least 10 race starts.
4. Transitioning - Horses who are already Marathon transitioned will not gain Longevity or Prime when transitioning to Steeplechase.
5. New Year's Resolutions - New Year's Resolutions may only be used once per game year.
6. Series Races - Series races now award purses through 10th place. 7th through 10th place finishers receive the same percentage of purse as 6th place.
7. Purses - Purses for WCF and ISHC have increased significantly and filly race purses have been adjusted to match colt races.
8. Track Info - Track info pages have some new census information to help you better declide where to (re)locate your stable!
9. Genotype Search - Genotype Search results show breed(s) accepted under the stud fee.
10. Chameleon Badge - Stables may earn a Chameleon badge when they actively enter horses in color shows.
11. Entry Fee Discounts - All stables receive up to a 25% discount on race entry fees based upon racing activity in the previous game month. The same discount applies to show entry fees based upon show activity in the previous game month.
12. Snowballs/Water Balloons - Inactive accounts may no longer be hit with balloons or snowballs.
13. Fae Horses - Fae horses may now opt in to color shows. Shows will be available for them beginning in January Y46.
14. Hypomate - Hypomate shows Speed and Stamina genes (rather than ratings) for horses who have a Genotype purchased.

1. Genetic Anomalies - Genetic Defects has been renamed to Genetic Anomalies, which will be mainly negative anomalies, and rarely positive anomalies. Heritage no longer contributes to Anomaly chances, and Development now has the same chances as Health to contribute to Anomaly chances. All breedings now have a base chance to produce Anomalies.
2. Pacific Region - The Pacific region will not be hosting series races next year with the exception of series that rotate regions (ZZ, ES, WCF, ISHC).
3. Series Races - All series races now allow multiple entries.
4. Stat Stars - Stat Stars are now automatically visible for all horses.

2. Consistency - A minor problem within horse creation scripts was causing horses to frequently start with just 1-2 Consistency, even as 4-5 year olds. This has been fixed so that horses will start with Consistency more appropriate for their ages.
3. Risk - Risk impacts will be gradually increasing in races throughout the rest of this game year. Horses with high Risk may suffer consequences at monthly rollover.
4. Zenspired Jockeys - Also reduces the chances of injury in races. Buddy Workouts can also reduce Risk if you pair buddies with that goal in mind.
5. Coat Condition - The impacts of Gleam and Grooming on Coat Condition have been reduced.

1. Buddy Workouts - Buddy Workouts no longer add Risk to horses with low Energy.

1. Initiate’s Quest - The Initiate’s Quest series compromises of 3 G2 races - one each held in December, January and February. The dirt version is hosted in the Americas region and the turf version in Europe. The distances are 5F, 8F and 11F consecutively, and the series is for 4 y/o+ TB of any gender. Filly Power/Colt Composure do not impact horses in these races. Rest and Experience are also not a factor in this series. Players are limited to one entry per race and the entry pool does not kick any entries out. This is for Green, Novice, or Amateur level players only.

1. Hype Cost - The cost of Hype has been updated to match Focus. It also now always increases Risk and has a more significant impact on Risk when fed to 2 year olds.

1. 3YO Only Gold Cups - 3 year old (only) Gold Cup races were reintroduced on a trial basis. A 4F Dash and 8F Derby will be offered for male, female, dirt, and turf divisions in each region.
2. Hype - Hype no longer reduces Rest.

1. HT Gem Races - These will not be held this year due to ongoing bug issues. Everyone received $3,000,000 as a small token of compensation for the missed opportunity.
