3. Account Setting - A new account setting allows you to show your barn names as buttons rather than test. There is also a new option in barn naming that allows you to designate a barn as the start of a line.
4. Appaloosas - Appaloosa broodmares are available in the Horse Trader for purchase. Each player may purchase them until they have 20 total Appaloosa broodmares.

1. Mare Grades - Mares must have an updated grade test to submit breeding requests to outside stallions.
2. Foal Birth Stats - Surface genes no longer impact a foal’s birth stats. Distance Genes have a less significant impact on a foal’s birth stats.
3. Grooming Center - Beginning February Y55, players will receive 126 Grooming Center slots per month (increased from 84).
4. Grooming - The training action, Grooming, has been renamed to Pamper.
5. Grooming Buff - The Pampered grooming buff has been renamed to Radiant.

1. Goldbloods - Goldbloods maintain Coat Condition easier than other breeds.
2. Stock Horses - Stock horses maintain distance proficiency easier than other breeds.

1. Handily - Horses who are Handily in races will lose Experience.
2. Foal Slots - Stock and Standardbred stallions no longer earn bonus foal slots upon retirement.
3. Time Turner - Time Turner and Prismatic Time Turner have returned from retirement. They will change a mare’s due date to January, or the current month, and Prismatic also resets a mare’s color show cooldown.
4. Preparedness - Preparedness is available as a stablewide upgrade trait.
5. Imports - Import colts now cost twice as much as fillies, varying upon a player’s rank.
6. Retirement - Horses no longer have a chance to reveal genotype upon retirement. The chance to reveal transition genes is increased for horses who have a Minor, Major, or Master (with the chance increasing for each award).
7. Contesting - Contesting arenas can no longer have muddy weather. Contesting races at series facilities will not be impacted by mud even if the main track is muddy.

3. Bedazzling Shampoo - Horses who use Bedazzling Shampoo will show a magic wand icon on their Genetics page under any colors it has been applied to.
4. Mustache Marking - Mustache is now an independent marking that may be applied in addition to other face and paint markings. There are also 3 additional markings that may be selected when using Santa’s Snack.
5. Racer Quick View - A column has been included to show if a horse has wraps equipped. Depending on Pro packages, exact percentages for Energy, Rest, Morale, and Condition will show when appropriate.

3. Color Shows - Color shows can award up to 10 points based on entries and horses may now earn up to 5 additional points based on their score.
4. Fae Foals - Homozygous Fae foals will always be fillies (regardless of ultrasounds and/or dusting) and heterozygous Fae foals will most likely be fillies (despite ultrasounds and/or dusting).
5. Contesting - Contesting horses earn 2 less points in races and purses for Contests are 50% less than typical races.
6. Driving Trials & Contesting - Horses who have transitioned to Driving Trials (STB) and Contesting (QH/PH) do not suffer morale loss when performing worse than their competitors. These races/contests are also not impacted by Colt Composure and Filly Power.
7. Pedigree Purifiers - Pedigree Purifiers may now be used on Solid Paint Horses to switch them to Quarter Horses.

1. Racing Points - The PRs required to earn points as a 2 year old have increased (by 20 per level).
2. Grooming - Grooming now increases Preparedness.
3. Auto Train - Retired horses not locked to a training automatically perform Groundwork when using Auto Train.
4. Off Season - Track and Trail Rides now increase Preparedness during off season.
5. Buddy Scores - Workout buddies now earn a bonus to their BW scores if they ran a personal best PR of at least 160 during their racing career, with a higher bonus if they ran 170+.
6. Mare Check-ups - Initial and final check-ups for mares have been increased to $50,000.

2. Leg Markings - Leg marking variety has been expanded from 9 to 13 unique options. Some of the old options have changed names to fit in with the new hierarchy, but all horses have retained their markings.
3. Face Markings - The former Masque 2 marking has been changed to be Mosaic 7. A new Masque 2 has been added as a replacement. Horses who already had Masque 2 will still show the same marking and will keep the Masque gene. The art for Masque 3 has been updated.
